Löyly keeps things simple: no reservations and no time limits, just heat, cold and rest at your own pace. The Finnish sauna sits around 190 to 200°F, and pouring water on the heaters is encouraged, which is where the name, the Finnish word for sauna steam, comes from. Cold tubs are set at a range of temperatures, so you can ease in.

The whole space is coed and swimwear is required at all times. Guests must be 16 or older, though ages 12 to 15 can come with a parent. Bring a bathing suit, sandals and a water bottle; towels are for rent if you forget one. There is a parking garage under the building, plus street parking.
