Thermae Retreat at ThePEMS

Thermae was founded in 2013 by Kelly Doyle after a retreat in Holland introduced her to Finnish-style saunas and pools, and it runs as a small, calm retreat rather than a busy gym. A visit moves between the Finnish sauna, individual infrared saunas and the cold plunge tub, with indoor and outdoor showers where you can use a salt scrub between rounds.

Between heat and cold there is a quiet meditation room, a wind-chime garden, a sound shala and art tables, and massage, breathwork and sound baths can be added. Call or text ahead to set your arrival time, and allow extra time for parking, which can be tight.
