More about Eastend

A standard visit is a self-guided 75-minute session that alternates the Finnish sauna, kept at about 180 to 194°F with low humidity, with plunge tubs between 40 and 55°F. Towels are provided and a bathing suit is required, and the space is co-ed. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early, and use the entrance on May Street.

Beyond open sessions, Eastend runs classes such as meditation, sound baths, stretching and a monthly sober social, led in part by its saunamaster. Infrared, salt, light and compression treatments are booked separately. Thursday and Friday evenings and weekend afternoons tend to be the busiest.
