More about Von Sauna

Social sessions last 75 minutes and you book a seat rather than the whole sauna; walk-ins are taken when seats are free. The saunas run about 170 to 195°F and you can pour water on the rocks, with essential oils for steam. To cool down, climb down the ladder into Lake Washington or use the bucket on a rope if you would rather not swim.

There are no showers, so you rinse off in the lake. Bring a swimsuit, two towels and a refillable water bottle, and only water is allowed inside. Guests 12 to 17 need an adult with them. Seattle Met reports that the sauna closes for the summer months.
