Good Hot
Richmond, San Francisco
A cluster of small, private cedar saunas on the beach at Point San Pablo in Richmond, where you book a sauna for your group and cool off in the bay a few steps away.
More about Good Hot
Each sauna sits on its own trailer on the sand, with portholes, skylights or a window onto the bay, and is rented as a whole for a 90-minute slot. Between rounds you walk down to the water for a plunge, rinse off under the outdoor cold showers or rest on wooden loungers.
Good Hot was started to welcome queer, trans and BIPOC bathers and keeps community guidelines posted on site, with regular days set aside for queer and trans guests. Changing cubicles are all-gender and bottoms are required. There is no public transit to the point, so plan on driving or a ride share.
