Archimedes Banya

The two Russian rooms run roughly 170 to 210°F with moderate humidity, the Finnish dry sauna sits at 220°F and above, and the hammam stays below 140°F with near-full humidity. Between rounds there is a cold plunge, warm-water jacuzzis and a roof deck looking across the bay. Aromatherapy sessions run several times a day, and a venik platza, a massage with bundled oak, birch or eucalyptus branches, costs extra.

Most hours are mixed-gender. The Banya Floor is clothing-optional after 6 pm and all day on Wednesdays and Fridays, while a swimsuit and robe are required in lounges, stairwells and decks. Some Tuesday evenings are set aside as women's or men's nights. Guests must be 18 or older except on Family Day.
