The New York bathhouse brand's first location outside NYC, a large coed spa under the Bellevue in Center City with a dry Aufguss sauna, a wood-stove banya, an infrared sauna, a steam room and three thermal pools.

More about Bathhouse Philadelphia

Most of the bathhouse sits in the basement of the historic Bellevue building, with its entrance on Walnut Street in the former Tiffany & Co. space. A day pass covers the dry sauna, the banya, the infrared sauna, the steam room and three pools: hot, neutral and a cold plunge. Towels and slippers are provided; bring your own swimsuit.

The dry sauna doubles as the event sauna, where sauna masters lead Aufguss sessions with scented water and towel waving through the day. A cafe serves light bites, smoothies, beer and wine between rounds, and massages can be booked separately. Guests must be 18 or older, and booking ahead is strongly encouraged even though walk-ins are allowed.
