Check-in gets you a towel and a shirt; shorts, a robe and more towels wait on your own gender's floor. The men's and women's levels are nude, with hot and cold tubs, a steam room and a dry sauna, and you shower before getting in the water.

Upstairs, the co-ed jjimjilbang is where families, couples and friends meet in matching uniforms. Work your way through the bulgama, salt, clay and jade rooms, then cool off in the ice room and rest on the heated floor. Day passes need no reservation, but book treatments a week or two ahead. Kids are welcome with a parent or guardian, and minors must stay with an adult of the same gender in the bathing areas.
