Spa World Houston

Spa World follows the jjimjilbang format: you pay admission, change into the spa uniform and move between heated rooms at your own pace. The common area holds the salt, clay, jade and pyramid rooms, a hot fire dome and a chilled arctic room for cooling off. A common approach is to start in the milder rooms and work up to the fire dome.

The bathhouses are separated by gender and are nude, as is customary in Korean spas. A Korean restaurant, cafe and outdoor terrace make it easy to spend most of a day. There is a playroom for younger children, and teens need a guardian's waiver for spa services.
