More about Saunawelt European Sauna House
Saunawelt brings the Central European sauna house to the Bay Area southeast of downtown. Guests move between a classic Finnish sauna, a gentler Brechelbad herbal sauna and a steam room, and cool down under a cold-water bucket shower or in a cool-mist room before resting in the indoor and outdoor lounges.
The signature is the Aufguss, a guided session where a sauna master pours water scented with essential oils on the stones and fans the heat through the room. The house is kept tech-free, and some sessions are social while others are quiet. Book online or by phone, and check the site for current pass prices and house rules before a first visit.
